    My Mission

Finding the ‘perfect’ therapist can be very difficult. By the time you need one you might be feeling frantic and confused.

You would just like to talk to someone that hears you. Someone that understands your story as it unfolds in front of them. They listen without judgment and maybe challenge a thought while holding you accountable, they are real and encouraging.

During our time together, I may challenge a thought you have and discuss alternative perspectives. We will discuss the different modalities I use and how you will benefit. I always make sure you’re safe by holding space for you, helping you to slow things down so that you are able to experience the process. The attunement I have with my clients is very valuable and effective in the healing process.

Some sessions are heavier than others, I have lots of bottled water and boxes of tissue, so when you come in, feel free to take your shoes off and get comfortable.  Of course at times sessions are lighter, we may laugh and recall the more positive side of things. Either way, feel free to say what you want without judgement. I look forward to meeting you!

    My Values

I take confidentiality very serious. As part of intake paperwork one of the forms I will ask you to fill out is a HIPPA form. I ask that you list at least one contact person that I would be able to contact for any emergencies. Other than this, no one will know of our paths crossing.

I will invite you to stay curious in our process. When you allow yourself to be curious, you are open to noticing what might be right in front of you. When you aren't being curious, you might be sitting in avoidance.

The ability to sense other people's emotions, along with the ability to imagine what someone else might be thinking or feeling.

Empathy is very important in the therapeutic process. I work hard to meet you where you are and help make the process as clear and painless as possible.

Being in uncertainty is being in doubt, skepticism, suspicion, or lack of sureness of someone or something. Sometimes being in uncertainty allows for your brain to want to know more, you begin to wonder what is on the other side of the doubt, etc. You are not in avoidance when you are vulnerable to uncertainty.
